Our daughter Aadhya started with CDA in 2020 in the recreational group. She was a little two and half year old who just loved coming in every weekend to dance. Her teachers were very encouraging and supportive. It wasn’t until her first end of year concert that we realised how much she loved performing on stage.

Few years on, Aadhya has had the opportunity to be part of the elite dance team and has performed at several eisteddfods, and other stage performances. She loves every day that she gets to go to her classes. She has come so far since her first year and now we see a very confident and committed little dancer. This is all thanks to her wonderful teachers! Our family is so proud of Aadhya, and so thankful to all her teachers.

My now, 8 yrs old started her Creative Dance Academy journey at one of the fun combo classes at Jordan Springs when she was only 5. I am not a dance mum, I was never a dancer at school so when my daughter told me she wanted to dance I joined with apprehension. How wrong I was ! She found joy in learning how to move her body to music. She has developed a keen ear for beats and rhythm. She is now my mad little tapper who still beams with excitement for every new routine and gorgeous costume. She loves her teachers. All of them. She runs up to them to tell her about her day or what she is excited about. She has learned discipline and creativity. She has found a tribe. A family beyond the members of our household. I have found a loving supportive community I am proud as punch being a part of.

Creative dance academy has been and continuous to be a joyful path of fun, learnings, friendships and creativity! Our vibe really does attract our tribe.

My eldest daughter started at CDA at the age of 3 after we had a poor experience at another dance school. My second daughter then started at 2 years and for the past 5 years CDA has been like an extended family.

My 8 and 5 year old have both grown so much not only in technique but also confidence.

We started in the mini magic combo class which was perfect with a taste of all three in one and both girls are now in the Elite team. Their technique and ability has improved out of site

Creative Dance Academy has given us so much more than a dance school and I always say they helped both girls get ready for school and now they are ready for the world.

The opportunities they have had presented to them is endless all thanks to CDA including Nationals on the Gold Coast and the FIBA World Cup half time entertainment and we are looking forward to the Easter Show in 23.

All the teachers are fully qualified and invested in helping each child develop and grow as a dancer and a person. They are very supportive and go above and beyond.

CDA is more than just a dance school - it’s become a second family for our daughter over the past 10 years. The teachers are second to none and work hard to ensure every child has a chance to shine.

As well as technique, the students learn important life skills including respect for themselves and others, the benefits of working hard towards a goal, confidence and resilience.

The older kids are fantastic with the younger ones, giving freely of their time and knowledge. Teamwork, good sportsmanship and friendship are core principles of the studio, and music, costumes and dance moves are always age appropriate.

My daughter has had amazing opportunities including dancing at community fetes and festivals, eisteddfods, concerts, workshops, The Royal Easter Show, on a cruise to Noumea, in flash mobs, and at the FIBA Women's World Basketball Championships.

Along the way, she has made lifelong friendships with the most beautiful group of girls, who all support, encourage and inspire each other.

We started at Creative Dance Academy 3 years ago after a recommendation from one of my daughter’s school friends who also attended. From the very first day, I knew we found not only a dance school but a family.

I knew she loved it as a few months after we started, we went into a pandemic and classes went online which I was very grateful for, my daughter continued learning and doing every class she could do online. When classes returned face to face, she was given an opportunity to join the elite team which she said, “yes straight away”.
We haven’t looked back, the staff and teachers are all professional, kind, and caring.
My daughter has not only grown as a dancer, but she has also built confidence, resilience, teamwork and has made beautiful friends.

From the moment we walked in the doors of Creative Dance Academy, we knew we had found our 2nd home.

My 7yo daughter has been a part of the CDA family since she was 2. She started off shy and wanted me to participate with her. The amazing teachers pulled her out of her shell and gave her the confidence to shine on stage in generals.
2 years later, she became a part of their Elite team, where she has had many amazing experiences. Fast forward a few years, she is now a dual national title holder, after competing at Nationals on the Gold Coast and in Canberra in 2022. She also had the most amazing experience performing, with the Showgroup team, at the FIBA women's world cup basketball in 2022.

These are just some of the amazing opportunities that CDA provides for their students.

The vibe is that of a family. Everyone is always ready to pitch in and help others.

Not only has my daughter made life-long friends, but so have I.

Dance as an extracurricular activity, a hobby or a passion- whichever way you take it, it would only work well in an environment where you feel supported, understood and given the right guidance.

CDA has been all of that in the past four and half years for our daughter. She went in as a shy 7 year old, who just wanted to have some fun and now has grown into a young lady who can talk passionately about different styles and techniques and has made some beautiful friendships that she will always cherish.
