Whether your young dancer wants to become a prima ballerina or a hip-hop star, we teach a variety of dance styles for kids. At Creative Dance Academy young students of all ages and experience levels can explore various dance genres such as classical ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, drama, acrobatics and more.
No auditions or experience is necessary to join our casual classes.
At Creative Dance Academy our young dancers will learn the different dance techniques and movements, then put it all together and practice in choreographed routines.
Kids dance classes at Creative Dance Academy are carefully designed by our highly experienced teaching staff to help students grow as young dancers and to develop a strong foundation in dance technique. Our teachers are specialised in giving students more personalised attention to make sure they can maximise their potential.
Our students will learn a sense of professionalism, self-discipline, concentration, self-confidence, the value of hard work and how to work in groups. In the end, students will gain a love and appreciation for dance as an art form and a means of self-expression.
Our popular Dance&Fun – Junior class is structured for children aged between 6 and 10 years. Students enrolled in this class will learn genres of jazz, tap and lyrical as well as an introduction into funk and hip hop forms of dance.

When considering enrolling your child in dance classes, you might wonder which genre is the right fit.
We recommend taking a look at the natural movements of your little one for the first signs of the type of dance your child naturally leans toward.
Is your little one twirling slowly and enjoying listening to soft music? Is your child a little bit more structured and likes calm things? If that sounds like your child, we recommend starting with ballet classes. See more information about our toddler dance classes.
On the other side, is your child jumping around while dancing and likes listening to fast-paced music? Is your little one losing focus easily and always wants to keep moving? In that case, a more upbeat dance style such as jazz or drama might be a better fit for your child.
Regardless of genre it is important that dance is enjoyable and fun for the young dancers. Generally our students will know whether they like a certain type of dance within the first few classes.
